Stem Guides
These medium duty Stem Guides are made of Stainless Steel, and are ideally suited for the harsh environments encountered in waste water treatment and chemical precessing plants of all types. Bronze guide bushings fit stem extensions from 1/2” to 2” in diameter. These Stem Guides are formed from solid 1/4” stainless steel and welded, to provide years of service. Valcom offers an inexpensive way to protect your critical pumps and chemical feed systems while maintaining consistent product flow. The PVC, Stainless Steel and Teflon construction of the Valcom series 9000 Back Pressure and Pressure Relief Valves can stand up to most chemicals. The heavy duty Teflon and Rubber Diaphragm provides a leak proof seal while allowing full flow through the valve. Unlike most Back Pressure Valves, the entrance and exit ports of the series 9000 are sized to match the inside diameter of the feed line pipe. This feature minimizes the abrupt velocity changes that occur in other valves of this type. By maintaining constant fluid velocity Valcom series 9000 valve minimize valve chatter and provide full flow to your production line. No special tools are required to adjust the series 9000 valve, and should the need arise, replacement of the diaphragm can be easily done in the field using ordinary hand tools.
